PRIVACY POLICY RULES,
adopted in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. 

KEY CONCEPTS

  1. UAB “Įrankis.LT”, company code 304105382, registered address Raudondvario pl. 154 A, Kaunas, email juristas@bokstelis.lt, tel. +370 (687) 56 419. Hereinafter referred to as “Company” in the privacy policy rules.
  2. lt – the website located at www.irankis.lt.
  3. Social Accounts – these are irankis.lt accounts on Facebook, Twitter, or other social networks providing information about the Company and the equipment rental services offered.
  4. Browser – a program used to display web pages on the internet or a personal computer.
  5. Personal Data – any information related to a natural person – data subject, whose identity is known or can be directly or indirectly identified using data such as a personal code, one or more characteristics specific to the individual’s physical, physiological, psychological, economic, cultural, or social nature.
  6. Privacy Policy – this document outlining the fundamental rules for the collection, accumulation, processing, and storage of Personal Data using irankis.lt.
  7. IP Address – a unique number assigned to each computer connected to the internet, known as an Internet Protocol (IP) address used to identify an individual.

 

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. In the Privacy Policy, the main rules for the collection, accumulation, and processing of Personal Data are outlined for the User using the irankis.lt website. These rules are prepared considering that irankis.lt is not an online store, and there is no possibility to create an account. On irankis.lt, personal data can only be provided by submitting a request for equipment rental for work at heights.
  2. The Privacy Policy is aimed at protecting and defending the Personal Data of irankis.lt Users from unauthorized use.
  3. The aim of the Privacy Policy rules is to regulate the processing of personal data on the Company’s website irankis.lt, ensuring compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, the Republic of Lithuania’s Law on Personal Data Protection, and compliance with other related legislation.
  4. Links to and from the Company’s partners, advertising providers, related persons’ websites may be provided on the Company’s website irankis.lt. Please note that other persons’ websites that Users visit by choosing links on the irankis.lt website have their own privacy policies, and the Company does not assume any responsibility for these privacy policies. Users are recommended to familiarize themselves with the privacy policies of these other websites before providing any Personal Data.

 

COLLECTION, STORAGE, AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. The Company’s website irankis.lt allows the User to submit a request for equipment rental for work at heights by providing personal data: (i) Name; (ii) Email; (iii) Subject; (iv) Question. The User who does not agree to provide data has the right not to provide the data and not to fill out the inquiry form.
  2. The above data is stored for 6 (six) months from the date of the User’s inquiry.
  3. The Company undertakes not to disclose the User’s Personal Data to third parties except in the following cases:
    • If there is the User’s consent to the disclosure of Personal Data;
    • Company partners providing services related to the proper performance of the Services ordered by the User;
    • The Company may also transfer the User’s Personal Data to third parties who act on behalf of the Company as Data Processors. Personal data may only be provided to those Data Processors with whom the Company has signed relevant agreements or cooperation agreements containing provisions regarding the transfer/provision of personal data, and the Data Processor ensures adequate protection of the transferred personal data;
    • In all other cases, the User’s Personal Data may be disclosed to third parties only in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The Company may transfer the data subject’s personal data to government or law enforcement agencies upon their request.
  4. Despite the Company’s best efforts to protect Personal Data, the Company cannot guarantee secure data transmission over the website. Any data transmission procedures are performed solely at the User’s risk. From the moment of data receipt, the Company applies extremely strict procedures for the protection of the User’s Personal Data and technical and organizational measures to ensure protection against unauthorized access to Personal Data.
  5. The Company uses the User’s Personal Data to:
    • Ensure that the content of the irankis.lt website is presented to Users in the most efficient and appropriate manner;
    • Provide Users with information or Services that Users desire or that might interest Users if Users have given consent to be informed for this purpose.
  • On the Company’s website, certain information about the User’s visits may be collected, for example: (i) Internet Protocol (IP) address used by the User to access the internet; (ii) Date and time of the User’s visit to the Company’s website; (iii) Other web pages that the User visits while on the Company’s website; (iv) Browser used; (v) Information about the User’s computer operating system; (vi) Mobile app versions; (vii) Language settings. If the User uses a mobile device, data allowing the identification of the mobile device type, device settings, as well as geographic (longitude and latitude) coordinates may also be collected. This information is used to improve the Company’s website, analyze trends, enhance products and services, and administer the Company’s website. The User voluntarily provides this data by using the Services provided by the Company, becoming a registered user of the Company’s website, or visiting the Company’s website.

 

USER RIGHTS

  1. The User has the following fundamental rights on the irankis.lt website:
    • To know about the processing of their personal data;
    • To familiarize themselves with their personal data and how it is processed;
    • To request correction or destruction of the User’s personal data held by the Company;
    • To object to the processing of the User’s personal data.
  2. The User, upon submitting a request in writing (accompanied by a document confirming identity), has the right to familiarize themselves with the User’s personal data processed on the irankis.lt website and to obtain information about the sources from which and what User’s Personal Data were collected, for what purpose they are processed, and to whom they are provided. The Company, upon receiving the User’s request, no later than within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the User’s request, provides the requested data or specifies the reasons for refusing to satisfy such a request in the same form as the User contacted or the User agreed to receive information about the data in another manner proposed by the Company.
  3. The User may submit a request for acquaintance, correction, or deletion of Personal Data collected about them by the Company via email to juristas@bokstelis.lt or by registered mail to the Company’s operational address at Raudondvario pl. 154 A, Kauno m.
  4. Any request or instruction related to the processing of Personal Data must be submitted by the User to the Company in writing by one of the following methods: (i) By sending such a request or instruction to the Company by registered mail to the operational address Raudondvario pl. 154 A, Kauno m.; (ii) By sending such a request or instruction to the email address juristas@bokstelis.lt.
  5. Complaints about improper or unlawful processing of Personal Data are handled by the State Data Protection Inspectorate, located at A. Juozapavičiaus g. 6, LT-09310 Vilnius, www.ada.lt.

 

FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. Users can familiarize themselves with and print the Privacy Policy at any time on irankis.lt. Users will always be informed about any future changes and/or additions to the Privacy Policy by publishing the new edition on irankis.lt.
  2. The Company is not responsible for communication disruptions that prevent Users and other individuals from accessing the website or using the services on the Company’s website.
  3. The Company cannot entirely guarantee uninterrupted and error-free functioning of the Company’s website, or that the website will be entirely protected from viruses or other harmful components. The User is informed that any material read, downloaded, or otherwise obtained through the Company’s website is obtained solely at the User’s discretion and risk, and the User is solely responsible for any damage caused to them or their computer system.
